A bulletproof vest is a workwear that protects the body of its wearer from gunshot wounds and other damaging factors. Body armor is made from durable materials that include ceramic or metal plates.
It is necessary
- Jacket, sleeveless jacket or T-shirt;
- durable material;
- metal plates.
Instructions
Step 1
Take an old jacket, sleeveless jacket, or T-shirt. Start sewing different sized pockets on your sewing machine. Pockets must be sewn on the places where the vital organs are located - the back, chest.
Step 2
Prepare plates from metal or other durable material. Insert them into the pockets, then sew the top of the pockets.
Step 3
There are seams between the pockets. They can get caught by the edge of a knife or an awl when struck and hurt you. Wash pockets over the joints, too, only then there will be no place on the vest that can be pierced.
Step 4
Better yet, if you arrange the plates as the fish scales, that is, overlapping. If possible, process the plates, make them convex, and wash the fabric on top of the "scales".
