Colored pencils can be used not only for their intended purpose. They can be used to make a bright decoration for an informal outfit. This kind of decoration is especially suitable for a child.
You will need: colored pencils (colors and shape - at your discretion), a small hacksaw, the finest sandpaper, a hand or electric drill with the finest drill, a waxed cotton or thin silk colored cord (Iris thread is also suitable), furniture varnish or colorless (clear) nail polish.
Execution order
1. To make beads for beads, necklaces or bracelets, cut the pencil into segments with a thickness of 0.5 to 1 cm. Drill holes in them. Grind off the sections with sandpaper so that the bead is free of burrs. String the resulting beads onto a thread or string.
2. To make a necklace with small pendant pencils, simply drill through the ends of the pencils that remain after making the beads for step 1, and string the resulting pencils on a thread or thin string.
Tip 1: Of course, you can combine crayon beads and pendant pencils for your products. Invite the child for whom these jewelry are created to assemble the combination of the parts himself as he likes best. Don't limit his imagination. Tip 2: so that such beads and pendants do not stain your clothes (there is a greater risk of getting dirty from soft pencils), it is worth painting them with one or two layers of furniture varnish or at least transparent nail polish.
