The art of origami migrated to Japan from China, but the traditions of folding animals from paper remained the same: only a square sheet of paper is used, no tears or cuts. But the number of animals that can be added in this technique is innumerable. It even includes mythical beasts such as the dragon.
Instructions
Step 1
The paper should be square. If you have A4 paper, fold the top right corner in half. You will have a complex shape from a triangle (square folded in half) and a rectangle. Cut the rectangle. Fold out the square and fold on the other diagonal.
Step 2
Fold the corners of the square towards the middle. Flip the resulting rhombus. Mark a point 2 cm below the top corner of the diamond and bend the adjacent sides from the adjacent corners to it. Fold back the beak at the intersection of the folds.
Step 3
Fold the sides from the bottom corner to the middle of the top right and top left. You will have the shape of a diamond.
Step 4
Fold back the corners. Fold back the top while pulling out the bottom.
Step 5
Fold back the ears to the left and right. Then the wings are at the back and front.
Step 6
Fold inward from the base line to the nearest obtuse corners. At the forked end, bend the corner - the future head.
Step 7
Fold in the tabs on the wings, fold the wings up. Bend the bottom corners to make the paws.
Step 8
Bend and extend the wings and tail in several places.
