Many women like to receive tulips as a gift, both on ordinary days and on holidays. However, despite their beauty, live tulips are extremely short-lived. If you want to enjoy tulips all year round, regardless of whether it is spring outside the window or winter, you can sew flowers from fabric, and they will become an excellent decorative element of your interior.

Instructions

Step 1

First, draw a pattern and cut out the details of future tulips: a long narrow strip of the stem, elongated curved petals - 3 petals for each tulip, and long large leaves - 2 details for one flower. Prepare a green cloth for the stem and leaves and a colored cloth for the tulips themselves.

Step 2

You will also need a holofiber or synthetic winterizer for printing flowers, thick wire and threads. Place the pattern on the fabric and cut out the flower details. If you need multiple flowers, repeat the cutout as many times as necessary. For one flower, you will need three parts for the bud, two parts for the leaf, and one part for the stem.

Step 3

Sew all the parts together on the sewing machine from the seamy side, leaving a small hole in each part through which they can be turned out and filled with soft filler. Turn out the stem with a pin or knitting needle, and then wrap a piece of wire equal to the length of the stem with a strip of padding polyester and insert the wire inside.

Step 4

Sew up the hole in the stem and then insert the stem into the tulip bud, which has been filled with filler through the bottom hole. Sew the tulip bud to the stem by hand, covering the hole with a blind stitch.

Step 5

Separately sew together the details of the sheet, lay them with one layer of padding polyester, having previously turned out, and then sew the finished sheet with a blind seam to the stem, tucking the edges inward.

Step 6

These tulips will remind you of the spring holidays even in cold winters, and they can also be a great gift for friends and family.
