It is very easy to decorate your home with a bouquet of delicate romantic tulips without spending a penny. To do this, sew a few tulips from scraps of fabric that usually remains after sewing linen, dresses, outerwear, etc.
multi-colored fabric, threads, printing material.
Such a craft can be made of all sorts of fabrics - from thick chintz to thin woolen, soft thin felt, silk, satin. By the way, a bouquet of tulips from satin will look more elegant and bright. Conversely, if you choose a cotton or woolen fabric (one-color or decorated with a small pattern), such a bouquet will add comfort to your home.
For a tulip bud, cut two pieces from a suitable fabric (red, pink, yellow, blue or purple, with or without a pattern), which are indicated by the number 2 in the pattern below. Do not forget the seam allowances.
Fold the parts of the bud right side to each other, sew them without sewing the lower part of the flower, however. Turn the bud out through the hole left and stuff the bud with cotton wool, holofiber, or other suitable material.
From the green fabric, cut one part 1 (stem) and two parts 3 (leaf). Detail 1 fold in half along the long side and sew, leaving a hole at the bottom of the stem. Stuff the stem through and sew. Also fold the details of the sheet inside out to each other, sew the side seams, turn the sheet inside out and sew the bottom one.
you can not sew the stem, but take a wooden stick or a piece of stiff wire and simply wrap it with a strip of green cloth, securing it with glue.
Attach the leaf to the stem with a pair of discreet stitches. Place the bud over the stem and secure with discreet stitches.
The fabric tulip is ready! Sew several of these tulips and place them in a vase.
