- For Tilda sewing, masters advise using natural fabrics (linen, cotton, calico or wool). Flannel is suitable for dolls, and fleece for animals. Knitwear is not recommended.
- For the manufacture of clothing toys take any material, better - with a small pattern.
- Tilda is sewn on a typewriter or by hand (according to some needlewomen, it is prettier by hand). Many toys have a seam in the middle - even on the face or muzzle; in this case, it is necessary to stitch especially carefully. Before turning, the fabric at the nose is carefully cut, not reaching the seam 1-2 mm.

Next, it is worth transferring the drawings to the material, chopping off the fabric so that it does not move out, and cutting out the figures. Craftswomen sew them on a typewriter along with pins. Do not forget to leave part of the part unstitched, you will need this to stuff the toy! In addition, cuts should be made in narrow and curved places so that the Tilda can be turned out without much effort.
