Together with your child, make a funny decoration for the New Year - a paper dragon. It is not scary at all and will bring joy and pride to the child who took part in the preparation for the holiday.
It is necessary
- - 4 white paper plates;
- - scissors;
- - glue "Moment";
- - 4 large beads or buttons;
- - ribbon;
- - gouache.
Instructions
Step 1
Take two paper plates, paint them blue on both sides, let dry and glue the bottoms together so that the sides of the plates point in opposite directions. This will be the body of the dragon.
Step 2
Take two more plates, put them into each other, step back about a centimeter from the side, at this distance draw a curved line parallel to the side with a length of 1 / 5-1 / 4 the diameter of the plate. All parts are needed in two, so the plates are put into each other.
Step 3
Cut along the drawn line a fragment of the side of the plate with a centimeter indent - this will be the head and neck of the dragon. Then cut off another exactly the same piece - this will be the tail.
Step 4
Take out two blanks for the tail from each other and position them so that the sides are bent outward (in the same position that two whole plates were glued together), outline with a pencil and cut out the contour of the tail on both parts: the tail should taper towards the end. Paint the tail and neck blue, let the parts dry, glue the same as the body.
Step 5
Draw a large oval (about 1/5 of the body) on the bottom of the nested paper plates - this will be the muzzle. Paint both ovals on both sides in pink, lilac or purple, glue on the neck blank, to a centimeter indent so that the curving side of the plate turns out to be a dragon's crest and the upper part of the muzzle (forehead).
Step 6
Cut out 4 small circles (nostrils), paint them with light pink paint and glue to the muzzle, then glue the beaded eyes over the oval muzzle (all on both sides). Cut 4 legs in the form of thick, with rounded corners "L" beeches, paint them the same color as the muzzle. If you turn the blanks in the shape of the letter "L", "upside down", you get a foot with a foot.
Step 7
Glue the neck and tail to the body, they should be positioned so that they can be represented respectively by the upper and lower part of the capital letter "g", that is, the bend of the tail is up, the bend of the neck is down. Glue the legs: the two lower ones to both sides of the plates and the two upper ones in the same way.
Step 8
Decorate the back, neck and tail of the dragon with colored beads, paper circles, or sequins as desired. Attach a ribbon or string to the back of the toy so you can hang it.
