Simple dragon
A fantastic dragon is not the easiest object to sculpt. The creation of such small details as scales and thorns takes care and a fair amount of time. To mold a simple dragon, it is necessary to form most of the softened plasticine of the main color into an oval. From the remaining piece, you need to sculpt an elongated tail, head, paws and wings. Make small triangles from plasticine of a contrasting color - they will be claws and spikes that will attach to the back and tail. Eyes can be made from pieces of plasticine or rhinestones, beads, etc. With a special stick, you can depict small details - nostrils, stripes, eyelashes and scales.
Difficult dragon
It differs from the first in a more thorough elaboration of small details - stripes, scales, wings, eyes, etc. More colors can be used in its creation. Plasticine is good because a few bending or pinching movements can change the character, giving him new features. You can bring the dragon to life by adding other details. For example, he may be on an impromptu stone or clearing, he may have a molded object in his paws - it all depends on your imagination. You can strengthen bent legs or a curved tail using a wire frame or tightly twisted foil.
First of all, the base is created - the torso. It can be oval, ovoid or pear-shaped. Subsequently, the head, legs, tail and wings are attached to it. If the figurine is planned to be large, then in order to save money in the belly area with plasticine, you can stick around the base, the role of which can be played by foam plastic, a ping-pong ball, a kinder surprise case, etc.
The dragon's head begins by sculpting a ball, which is then shaped into the desired shape. You can detail it right away by attaching nostrils, eyes, teeth, ears and thorns from small pieces of plasticine, or already at the moment when the whole figure is ready.
The paws are made from “sausages” thickening at the base. Then fingers and claws are pressed on them with a special knife or stick.
The wings are molded from thin layers, they can be made with your fingers or with a special plastic rolling pin. The required shape is given with a knife. On them, you can make membranes from strips of plasticine in a contrasting color.
