Step 1
First, ask for forgiveness from the people closest to you, whom you, on purpose or by accident, but still offended with something. It is often not easy to ask for forgiveness, because you have to step over your pride, but it is necessary. After that, you need to forgive your loved ones themselves if you are offended by them for some reason, even if not deservedly. Forgive them, for God will not forgive your sins if you do not forgive people. Ask forgiveness and forgive as sincerely as possible. This gives an amazing feeling of lightness, as if a heavy load had fallen from the soul, and this is how it is.

Secondly, ask for forgiveness from all your friends and acquaintances, work colleagues and neighbors if you have done something wrong in front of them, and also forgive them if they did not please you in some way. If there is no way to meet the person in person, ask for forgiveness and forgive mentally.

Third, you need to prepare to go to the temple for confession. Take a piece of paper and remember all your secret and obvious sins, write them down on paper so that you will not forget them later in confession in church.
