While waiting for the baby, it is so pleasant to knit or sew something, imagining how cute little legs or arms will look in these clothes. For a boy, for example, you can knit booties in the form of cars.
It is necessary

Instructions
Step 1
Cast on 40 stitches on the needles (if the threads are thick, reduce the number of stitches) and knit the sole. Knit the first and second row with front loops. Starting with the 3rd row, add two loops in the middle and one at the edges in every second row (4 times in total). To add a new loop, twist the waistband between the loops and knit a new one out of it.
Step 2
Knit the tenth, eleventh and twelfth rows with front loops. Now you have 56 stitches on your needles. Divide the knitting into three parts, leaving 23 loops on the sides, and 10 loops in the center and knit in the middle, just like the heel at the toe. That is, according to the scheme: 1 edge, 21 front, 2 together front, 8 front, 2 together front.
Step 3
Turn around and continue: hem 1, knit 8, purl 2 together, then turn to the right side, knit the middle again, etc. Remember, you only knit the middle, keeping its size, and the side parts will gradually decrease. To make the tracks of the corners of the booties even, knit 2 loops together on the front side with the front loop, and on the wrong side - with the wrong one.
Step 4
Knit in this way until there are 13 stitches on the sides (36 stitches in total, 10 in the middle and 13 on the sides). Leave the sides alone for now and tie the window in the center with white threads. Work several rows, then cut so that 6 stitches remain in the middle.
Step 5
Continue knitting with the main thread to tie the top of the booties. Knit the side pieces along the existing loops, then cast on the loops on the side of the window, hooking the threads, continue to knit along the upper loops of the window, then cast on 7 loops on the other side and finish the row on the side of the bootie. In this way, knit 10 rows.
Step 6
Close the loops and break off the thread, leaving 30-50 cm for sewing. Thread the thick-eye needle and sew the booties with a knit stitch.
Step 7
Take the hook and tie the wheels. To do this, dial a chain of 5 air loops, close in a ring and knit the first row - knit two columns from each loop. Two or three of these rows will be enough, you can knit each row with threads of a different color.
Step 8
Sew the wheels to the machine booties. Embroider windshield wipers, a grille, sew on headlights-buttons. Knitted booties in the form of cars are ready and waiting for the little owner!
