Knitting should be started from the sole. Cast on 15 air loops, which will form the base, plus one more for lifting the row. The chain should reach from the base of the toes to the middle of the baby's heel.
Step 3
Begin tying the chain in a circle, adding stitches evenly at the beginning and end of the sole. In the second row, knit two columns in three loops in the front and in three at the back, on the next round, two columns must be added to four loops. If you want a thicker and more durable sole, knit in single crochets, if you want a lighter and more delicate one, choose double crochets.
Step 4
In order to move from the sole to the main part of the bootie, knit a row of columns without a crochet, pulling the thread through the purl loops of the previous row. Make three to four rows of regular single crochets, and you can move on to the finishing part of the shoes.

To make the booties take the shape of shoes, start reducing the number of posts in the front, skipping the loops. From about the middle, knit one stitch in two loops. Having made two or three rows in this way, you will achieve the desired shape.

We can stop at this. However, if you wish, you can tie an openwork top to the booties, which will give them a cute look. To do this, start alternating several crochet stitches, knitted from one loop, with air loops.
