LED bulbs are very popular today. They have significant power, save energy, the spectrum of light is maximally adapted to the human eye. One problem is that they are expensive. The way out is to make a lamp yourself. In order to make an LED lamp yourself, you need half an hour of free time, some tools and your desire.
It is necessary
A kit for assembling an LED lamp, a driver for LEDs, the LED itself, preferably white, a low power transformer for halogen lamps, thermal grease, a Phillips screwdriver, a soldering iron with solder and rosin and tweezers
Instructions
Step 1
Now get down to work directly. Install the emitter on the heatsink plate. How to do it? Apply a small amount of solder to the contact areas using a soldering iron. Put some thermal paste in the center. This is required to improve the contact of the plate and the LED with heat-conducting surfaces. Then install the LED directly and solder it to the contact areas.
Step 2
Next stage. Insert the driver into the lamp base. Fix it with hot melt glue. In the absence of it, you can use a piece of rubber. Pass the wires from the driver into the hole of the radiator, to which then screw the base with self-tapping screws. They are also included in the kit. Solder the LED. Next, lubricate the pad with thermal grease, on which the radiator plate will then stand. Use tweezers to push excess wires into the base. Wipe the LED lens with a cotton swab. And only then install the collimator.
Step 3
And the final stage. Close the flange from above and screw the collimator onto the screws. Your LED lamp is ready to use. It remains only to connect it to the transformer, and it starts to glow.
