How many craftsmen live in our country, how many incredible decorative elements they have already managed to make by now, you cannot count. From this variety of various objects of all sorts of shapes and purposes, I would like to highlight a simple but very beautiful star light bulb. If desired, this light bulb can be given any other shape. We present detailed instructions.
It is necessary
- - wires
- - threads
- - superglue or "Moment"
Instructions
Step 1
First, gather all the materials you need. Fortunately, there are not many of them. Take a string and throw it lightly over the wire. Then wrap the thread around the wire completely. How to do this will be clear already in the process of winding the thread. Do not forget to leave a small tail of the thread 6 cm long.
Step 2
Connect the ends, then wrap them with a thread tail so that they stick together. Use superglue or "Moment" for fidelity so that nothing comes loose. You should end up with a circle.
Step 3
After that, make a pentagon out of the circle. Immediately determine by eye the middle of each side of the resulting pentagon. Now bend each center so that you get something that looks like a star.
Step 4
In the same way, make another pentagon from thread and wire and give it a star shape. Now you need to fasten both "stars" together with the help of threads, tying the corresponding corners of your wire-thread figures to get a volumetric star.
Step 5
Make sure the star is three-dimensional and there is enough space between the halves. Take a thread of the color you like and start slowly wrapping it around your figure until you wind as much thread as you need.
Step 6
Take some old, but still working table lamp, remove the lampshade from it. You can also buy something that looks like a desk lamp from a store (like a thrift store). Now take your handmade star and place it on the lamp, fixing it with glue. Thanks to this fixation, the lamp will stand for a long time and evenly.
