Cabbage is a vegetable that everyone knows. You can talk for a long time about its taste and useful qualities. The appearance of the cabbage is rather unusual. The vegetable looks like a green ball. Delicate leaves resemble flower petals. How do you draw this ball of leaves?

Step 1
Draw white cabbage. First, draw a circle in the middle of the paper. On the right side, through the entire circle, draw a line that will repeat the outlines of the figure. The form should resemble a young month. Draw the old month on the opposite side. Draw a horizontal line between them. One end of it should diverge into two tracks.
Step 2
Now sketch out the bases of the cabbage leaves. First, above the circle, draw a figure that resembles the cap of a hero. To the left of it is another smaller one. She must go behind the first. Then draw in turn the upper and lower leaves. Slightly blur the outlines of the "cap".
Step 3
Start drawing the details. Add wavy lines to the "months" on the inside. Draw the middle line wavy too. The contour of the resulting line should be uneven. Draw a wide line towards the edges.
Step 4
Make the borders of the leaves uneven, asymmetrical. Draw veins on each leaf. Draw them as a tree with branches raised up. Don't make them very thick, pretend you are drawing cobwebs.
Step 5
Paint the cabbage in green tones. Make the center of the head lighter. To do this, mix the green paint with the yellow paint. Take a piece of foam rubber and make a light background with light movements. Take a thin brush, pick up white paint, preferably gouache, and draw the lines of the veins. Paint the space between the two leaves with light green paint without any yellow admixture. Darken the lower leaves.
Step 6
Paint "months" with white paint with the addition of yellow and green in small quantities. Leaves that have not yet fully blossomed, paint on the outside in green, while the veins should clearly stand out against the background of the leaves. Make the lowest leaves dark green. To do this, mix light green paint with a drop of black. Remember to apply the streaks with the brush to the already dried surface of the green leaves.
