Sambovka is a jacket for sambo training. What is the difference between a sambist's uniform and other forms? Firstly, the main colors are red and blue, however, beginners in competitions are allowed to have a cream, white uniform, but the belt of the jacket must be red or blue. Unlike a kimono, it has “wings” on its shoulders - special protruding strips that allow it to withstand strong grips, and there are slits at the waist level so that the belt can be threaded.
Instructions
Step 1
To tie a belt on a sambov, pass it through the holes in the jacket, but so that one end is short and the other long. Take the short end of the belt and hold it with your left hand, wrap the long end around the waist so that the "layers" overlap. As a result of the operations done, you should have both ends of the belt in your hands, one of them pressed in layers.
Step 2
Take the upper end of the belt in your right hand and cross it over the left end of the belt. Then run the right end down under all the layers and bring it out. Bend the left end to the right and take it out from under the 2 layers of the belt and put it on top. Pass the upper element into the formed ring and finish the process by tightening the knot.
Step 3
When preparing for your first competition, take care not only of the jacket, but also of the wrestlers and shorts. You can buy wrestling shoes in sports stores or order their tailoring. But when ordering, discuss with the master all the features of this shoe. Wrestling shoes should be made of soft leather with a soft sole so that there are no protruding hard ends. Let the foreman think over the protection of the ankles and feet with felt pads.
