Fashion for comics came to Russia from Western countries. Today these chains of pictures, connected by one plot, are published in various genres: science fiction, detective stories, manga, etc. Optionally, you can create a comedy comic with your own hands.
Instructions
Step 1
Come up with a title, plot, and plan for a future comic strip. Remember that a really funny, or at least amusing, story must be described in a comedy comic. If you are unsure of your sense of humor, try to get inspiration by examining some of the already released comics in a similar genre (for example, currently popular Internet memes), or just watch famous comedies, watch how they embody the image of the characters to use their example to come up with funny characters for a comic.
Step 2
Prepare materials and tools to create your comic. If you want to make the publication more detailed, use A3 sheets. Simpler comics can be drawn on A4 sheet. Immediately draw the storyboard of the comic in the form of frames of a suitable size, connected to each other or having a border of 0.5-1 cm. So you can immediately start filling them in the appropriate proportions.
Step 3
Sketch the characters and their various actions on a separate sheet. It is better to create several templates that will later be easier to transfer into the comic itself. Within the prepared framework, begin to make preparatory pencil sketches. The drawing should take up the whole frame, but sometimes you can make exceptions and go slightly beyond the specified framework, for example, when drawing significant situations in the plot, various effects, character phrases, etc.
Step 4
Process the frames by drawing them with a pencil. To do this, you can use ink and paint, or make sketches in color on the computer. Scan comic pages in 300 dpi resolution and open them in any professional graphics editor. Remove all irregularities and imperfections in the drawings using the eraser in the program, color in all the frames and write the characters' replicas in the previously prepared clouds. The most convenient way to process comics on a computer is using a graphics tablet.
