The boomerang was originally an Australian Aboriginal warhead. Boomerangs are still sometimes used for their intended purpose, although they have long been a children's toy in most countries of the world. Previously, boomerangs were made from both wood and mammoth tusks, but now they are mostly wooden or plastic, which does not affect the degree of their volatility. The most attractive thing about boomerangs is the complex trajectory of their flight, as well as the possibility of returning to the hands of the thrower.

Instructions

Step 1

In order for the boomerang to return, it must be properly launched. It is not difficult to do this, the difficulty lies in practicing a special throwing technique, which allows the boomerang to return.

Step 2

A typical boomerang has the shape of a wing, i.e. it has only two wings, curved in a hyperbole. At the same time, one of the "blades" is curved more strongly than the other, and in general, such a boomerang is somewhat reminiscent of aircraft wings aligned at an angle. To launch such a boomerang, hold the end of the boomerang firmly with the palm of your hand, while its upper wing should look up.

Step 3

Then tilt the boomerang slightly to the right so that the angle between the projectile and the horizon is 65-70 degrees.

Step 4

Move your hand with the boomerang behind your head and throw it vigorously. Do not forget to twist it with a sharp brush movement at the last moment. If done correctly, the boomerang will return to you in an arc about 50 meters in diameter.

Step 5

If your boomerang is in the shape of a triangle, to throw it you need to take it by one of the corners so that your index finger is on the front side of the corner, while the boomerang itself is turned towards you with the printed side. The throw itself is no different from throwing a regular boomerang.
