It may seem to a beginner spinning player that it is quite difficult to master the casting technique. This is not so - with a certain perseverance, you can in a couple of evenings, having practiced for 1.5 - 2 hours, learn side casts, they are the most simple in terms of execution technique. This will allow you to start perfecting your skills on real fishing and soon bring home a catch of pikes and perches, which are caught from 15-20 m from the shore.
It is necessary
Two-handed spinning rod
Instructions
Step 1
Before throwing the spinning rod, practice spinning the drum to see how it will react to braking with your finger. You can do this without passing the line through the rod ring.
Step 2
To make a side cast from right to left with a rod with the reel installed downward, hold the two-handed rod by the upper end of the handle with your right hand, and with the palm of your left hand grasp the handle below the reel, brake the reel drum with your left hand.
Step 3
If the position of the coil is inconvenient for you, rearrange it higher. In this case, move your right hand below the reel and brake the drum with your right finger. Place your left hand on the bottom of the handle.
Step 4
Lower the load with the spoon so that there is 6-10 cm between it and the end of the rod. Spread your legs shoulder-width apart, the positioning should be stable and allow you to freely make a half-turn with the body. If you will be casting with a heavy spoon without weight, adjust the distance from the tip of the rod to the spoon depending on the stiffness of the rod. If it is hard and the reel is heavy, increase the distance; if it is a soft rod and light reel, decrease it.
Step 5
Pass the cord through the rings and tie a weight of 30-40 g to its end. Stand facing the target, grab the rod above the reel with your left hand, grab it below the reel with your right hand and place your index finger on the reel, holding its edge to prevent rotation. Release the load lower - 60-100 cm.
Step 6
Move the end of the rod gently behind your back, the load should not touch the ground. Swing smoothly forward, from bottom to top. The moment the rod is level with your left ear, remove your finger from the reel and allow it to unwind unhindered. At the same time, give a strong push with the tip of the rod towards the target. Control the flight of the cargo. If it started to go to the right, remove your finger from the coil earlier, if it moved to the left, then later. This will allow you to adjust the flight of the cargo to the intended target.
Step 7
To make the line move in the rings at the desired speed, slightly slow down the drum with short finger presses, especially towards the end of the cast. You will learn to pinpoint these moments with a little experience.
