Sometimes it becomes necessary to make one of several parts of the film. For example, if there is an old film recorded in a format where only a third or a quarter of the total time fit on one disc. Or a new, very voluminous movie, divided into 2 discs. Copying to the hard drive does not solve the viewing problem - you still have to include the second file manually. It is much more convenient to combine parts of a movie into one file.

Step 1
Download a video editing program. On the net you can find a huge number of various utilities for all occasions. One of the convenient and user-friendly programs is ImTOO Video Converter.
Step 2
Launch your browser and enter the address of the program's official website: https://www.imtoo.com/video-converter.html. Click the Download button and download the product installation package. This program is paid and has limitations for the demo version. If you don’t want to pay, or you just don’t like the interface of this utility, there is an alternative. Open the website https://www.freemake.com/en/free_video_converter/ of the free Freemake Video Converter and download it.
Step 3
Install the program on your computer. Double-click the downloaded file. An installer window will open, in which you should answer the wizard's questions. Press the Next button until the Finish button appears - a sign of the completion of the process, of course, unless you are going to change the initial settings of the program and the installation folder. Step 4
Launch the video editing utility and merge the parts of the movie. Double-click the shortcut on the desktop - it looks like a roll of film. Agree to the terms of use and click the Add file button. A dialog for adding fragments will open - you can select all parts at once or add one piece of video one by one. In any case, a list of files will appear in the main part of the window.
Step 5
Click the Browse button at the bottom of the window to select a folder to save the result of the program's work. Keep in mind that it will take quite a lot of free space for the final file. Select all the files you want to combine. To do this, left-click on the first file, hold down the Ctrl button and, without releasing it, click on the second, third, and so on files.
Step 6
Click on the button in the form of two pieces of film strip on the panel at the top, it will become active only after you select the files for merging. In the right part of the window, you can specify the name of the final movie and processing parameters, if necessary. A new element with the name you specified will appear in the file list, and the original fragments will appear above it. Uncheck the boxes next to the original files. Then click the round arrow button to merge the parts of the movie. Wait until the end of processing and check the result.
