The film "Twilight", loved by many viewers for its gripping plot, is based on the books of American writer Stephenie Meyer. Currently, four books of this novel have been published, however, due to the richness of the plot in the latest edition, the directors decided to divide the last book into two parts when filming the film.
The first film titled "Twilight" was released on November 20, 2008. In the first part of the novel, viewers meet the main characters: an ordinary girl Bella and a vampire Edward, and witness the birth of their love. The length of the film is exactly two hours.
The second film titled "The Twilight Saga. New Moon" was released exactly one year after the release of the first part, namely on November 20, 2009. This part tells about the separation of Bella and Edward (Edward leaves the girl so as not to endanger her), as well as the friendship between Bella and Jacob (an Indian youth who has the superpower to transform into a wolf). The length of the film is just over two hours.
The third film, based on the book by Stephenie Meyer, - "The Twilight Saga. Eclipse" was released on June 30, 2010 (six months after the release of the second part). This part of the novel tells the story of the love triangle of Edward, Bella and Jacob. The duration of the film is two hours and three minutes.
The fourth film - "The Twilight Saga. Breaking Dawn" (the first part) is presented for screening on November 11, 2011. In this film, the main characters (Bella and Edward) get married, the girl bears a vampire child and turns into a vampire herself.
The last film, the fifth - "The Twilight Saga. Breaking Dawn" (second part) was released on November 15, 2012. The final part tells about a young family: Bella, Edward and Renesmee (the daughter of young people), as well as the girl's mentor, Jacob. Upon learning that a vampire girl appeared in the Cullen family, the Volturi (an ancient and very large clan of vampires, all of which have a special gift) want to destroy them and challenge them (the "conversion" of children is prohibited by the Volturi). The battle is scheduled for Dawn.

Recently, you can see information on the network that the sixth part of this film is being shot, but this is not true. According to the writer Stephenie Meyer, the novel is completely finished and she does not intend to continue writing. Representatives of the same film studio, which filmed all the episodes of "Twilight", said that if Stephanie still writes a sequel, they will certainly film it.
