Step 1
Purchase clipart when the task is to find images for the site. Usually the photographs are grouped by themes: “health”, “sports”, “trade”, “business”, “people”, etc. Sometimes in one clip art there are images of several different themes. Since there is no need to publish on the site "heavy" images with a resolution of 300 dpi, it is better to buy collections in which there are more photographs. When choosing photos, it is important to be guided by their relevance to the text content of the page.
Step 2
Find cliparts if you decide to make a paper newspaper or magazine, and the budget does not include payment for the photographer's work. Sometimes royalty-free collections of photographs become a real help in publishing. To avoid being told later that you are using a "blurry" image, try to use images to create your own compositions. For example, in one magazine, when it was necessary to make illustrations for an article about a lady with camellias, the designer found the following solution. From various cliparts I chose a castle typical of medieval Europe, a portrait of a girl with a high hairdo and flowers that resemble camellias. The first image has become a partially blurred background. The portrait lost its color, being painted in sepia and acquiring a characteristic "blur", it was decided to leave the flowers unchanged. As a result, thanks to the clip art, a very worthy illustration was born.
Step 3
Use Royalty Free Images to make ad units and PowerPoint presentations. In both, the collections will help you find a decent visual range, while keeping your wallet intact. However, there is one important aspect, which in some cases limits the use of clipart. Namely - copyright and property rights. It happens that in Russia Western clipart is sold without permission from the copyright holders. Then, of course, its use will entail a violation of the law.
