Instructions
Step 1
Examine the photographs and images of the rhinoceros, examine the shape of different parts of his torso. Separately, try to draw a fragment of the rhino's face and draw the contours of the horn on it. Depending on the age of the rhino you are drawing, the horn can be long and pointed, or it can be shortened and blunt. The older the rhinoceros, the more blunt its horn becomes.
Step 2
Also, separately sketch the shape of the rhino's legs from different angles - in front, in profile and in a three-quarter turn. Draw the legs of the rhinoceros short and strong, with three wide toes and folds at the junction of the foot and leg.
Step 3
Then draw the main outlines of the powerful and voluminous body of the rhino, trying to repeat with pencil lines the folds of the skin characteristic of the body of these animals. Draw the outlines of the skin folds on the sides of the rhinoceros, as well as at the junction of the legs with its body. Draw the outlines of the ribs that protrude through the skin, and also draw a curving thin tail with a dark tassel at the end.
Step 4
Start drawing the rhinoceros from the head - this will make it easier for you to keep the proportions. For the base for the head, draw a small circle, and then draw an oblong almond-shaped body shape overlaid with a circle for the head with no neck visible.

Draw the outlines of the rhinoceros head around the main circle - form an elongated and curved nose, add a point for the mouth. At the bottom point of the blank-circle, outline the contour of future eyes, and above the eyes draw eyebrows and eyebrows.

Mark the holes for the nostrils of the rhinoceros, and then move on to drawing the horn, which you have already tried to draw before. Draw the horn so that its base rests on the top of the animal's nose. Give the horn volume, draw its hard bone texture.
Step 7
Detail the head of the rhinoceros, sketch out the outlines of the small, round ears that are at the top of the head. Accentuate the skin folds on your chest. Use thin lines to draw the curved relief of the back, and then use shading to show which parts of the rhino's body are shaded, and which parts of the light are falling. Color the finished rhino.
