Unusual beads can be easily woven from the cheapest materials at hand. The manufacturing process itself is very exciting, and how bright and cheerful the result will be!
It is necessary
Balls, grains, awl, strip of fabric, thread, fishing line, candy wrappers, "gypsy" needle, fastener, glossy magazines, pen, ruler, scissors, glue, varnish
Instructions
Step 1
For the first version of the beads, you will need balls or fruit pits (the grains of peaches or apricots should be washed, dried and pierced with an awl) and a narrow long piece of fabric. From the material it is necessary to cut a strip 1 m long and 6 cm wide, sew it along the length and turn it out on the front side. Instead of such a strip of fabric, you can adapt an unnecessary belt - for example, from a robe or dress - which will need to be ripped up along the narrow side.
Tie the woven blank for beads in a knot in the center and start filling with balls or bones. After each "bead" it is worth tightening the knot. Thus, you will get a volumetric chain of nodes and balls (grains). When you reach the end, sew the narrow sections of the fabric by hand.
Step 2
For the second version of beads from the simplest materials, candy wrappers are useful. Thick waxed wrappers, like toffee wrappers, are best, but you can use any wrappers. The main thing is at least 130 pieces!
First you need to fold candy wrappers in the form of small dense squares or rectangles (depending on the size of the pieces of paper). When the "beads" from the wrappers are ready, start piercing them with an awl or a thick "gypsy" needle and string them on a thick thread. When the collection of beads is over, you will need to attach a clasp to the ends of the string and tie it carefully.
Step 3
The third option is to weave beads from glossy magazines. The publications should be placed on a flat, flat surface, with a pen, divide the pages into long triangles and cut along the lines. Then you need to take a needle with a thread or fishing line threaded into it in order to immediately string on beads for varnishing and drying. Wind the triangular strip of paper tightly around the needle, starting at the wide edge. You can try shaping the beads from two to three layers of paper. First, you should hold the edge of the sheet with your nails, constantly observing that the page lies flat. At the end, you need to apply a lot of glue to the glossy bead and press hard for a couple of seconds. Liquid paper glue or glue stick is best. After tightly stringing on a fishing line or thread and applying glue, the beads must be varnished in two to three layers. Jewelry should be left to dry for 2 to 3 days.
