Not everyone knows how many amazingly beautiful things can be made from an ordinary pen. Such things will decorate the interior of almost any apartment. And making them is usually not difficult. Let's make a beautiful feather, or rather, a whole panel of feathers. Let it be a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
Instructions
Step 1
We will pick up clean and even feathers and paint them carefully with a small brush, or it is better to use a spray. You can use a wide variety of colors, from the brightest and lightest to the darkest. Take a piece of dark fabric and stretch it over a hoop or a wooden frame. A piece of fabric 24x24 cm with a 2 cm allowance for the hem on all sides will be enough for us.
Step 2
We will translate the drawing scheme for our future panel into tissue or rice paper, attach the paper to the fabric along all lines using large stitches with white threads. Now tear off the paper, and on the dark fabric we will have a clear outline of the drawing.
Step 3
Let's select feathers by color, attach them along the threads to the fabric. But we will not sew it yet. After we select feathers that are suitable in size and color, you can start sewing them on.
Step 4
First, let's make the border. For her, we will pick up several feathers of the same color or take feathers of two colors, alternating them.
Step 5
After we have the border ready, we sew four long feathers of the same color along the contours of the middle and largest flower. Now we will make the flower more magnificent by attaching a few more side feathers of a different color. At the base of the petal feathers, attach small and fluffy feathers of the same color as the flower, but in a different tone. And the core of an almost finished central flower can be made from a piece of silk or velvet or from chenille. We make the rest of the flowers in the same way and make sure that the threads and bases of the feathers are not visible anywhere.
