  • - glass;
  • - water;
  • - small and medium flower pots;
  • - universal soil;
  • - sand;
  • - peat;
  • - compost;
  • - drainage;
  • - a spatula for planting flowers.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse well and peel the dates from the transparent film, pulp, in order to prevent the decay process in the future. Leave the washed bones on the windowsill for two days.

Step 2

Place the dried date pits in a glass of water at room temperature for a day. Change the water 2-3 times.

Step 3

Prepare a pot of soil in advance - mix three parts of soil with one part of sand and pour into a flower pot. After that, carefully spill the soil, having previously made holes in the bottom of the planter.

Step 4

Remove the seed from the water, wipe it well, wrap it in cotton wool and moisten it abundantly with water. Then plant the date in a prepared pot to a depth of 2-3 cm. Now it remains to wait for the first shoots. They will appear in about 1-3 months. Remember to keep the soil moist.

Step 5

When the first sprouts are 10-15 cm long, plant the sprouts in separate flower pots. It is important that the planter is tall, but not too wide, because the roots of the plant are thin and long.

Step 6

There must be drainage at the bottom of the pot to prevent water stagnation. The soil consists of four parts of the universal soil, one part of sand, one part of peat and compost. Do not forget to replant the small palm tree in larger planters every year.
