Its advantage is that it requires minimal maintenance. Since plants in a bottle can do without much maintenance for up to several months. Making a garden in a bottle is so easy that even a child can do it.

Step 1
First you need to decide on the choice of plants for the garden in a bottle, since not all plants can grow well in an airtight container. It is undesirable to plant fast-growing plants or plants with large leaves in small containers. Suitable plants for a garden in a bottle are those that require a humid microclimate. As a rule, these are tropical plants. In addition, these should be plants with little or no root system. Plants that develop rather slowly and do not need constant care.
Plants that will feel good in the terrarium: Calamus cereal "Variegata"; royal begonia; Dracaena "Sandera"; cryptantus bromeliad; arrowroot white-veined; ferns; Pellionia is beautiful; saw-cut "Kadje", silver saw-cut; ivy; Selaginella "Krausa"; fittonia; hamedorea graceful; arrowroot; calathea; uzambara violets and other plants.
Step 2
Pour a 1.5-3 cm layer of drainage on the bottom of the glass jar. Then add a layer of earth and level the soil.

With a shovel or spatula, you need to make depressions for planting. Now carefully place the plant, along with the earthy lump, in the terrarium (glass container). If the neck of the container is narrow, you can push a small plant through it with tweezers.
Step 4
After planting, plants and soil should be sprayed with water using a small spray bottle. Now you can get down to the most creative part of creating a mini-garden in a bottle: the decor. To decorate the garden, pebbles, shells, driftwood, artificial insects are suitable. At the end of the procedure, we clean the walls of the vessel from earth and drops with a sponge attached to a stick, and seal the bottle tightly.
Step 5
Plants in a bottle require little or no watering. Since a "tropical" atmosphere is formed inside the container, and the moisture of the soil and air is regulated by the plant itself. Watering or spraying can only be done after you notice that condensation has stopped forming.
