Not a single lover of spearfishing has yet managed to do without a special speargun. Submarine guns are used for fishing at a fairly large depth, they, unlike conventional guns, do not use bullets. They shoot spears with special spears or darts. It is quite simple to make this gun, at the same time it is very reliable in operation.

It is necessary

  • - special, heat treated spring with anti-corrosion coating
  • - wire 2mm in diameter
  • - duralumin tube for the barrel, 12, 5 - 13 mm in diameter
  • - two plates - fit nylon, beech, aluminum, oak - for the handle
  • - stainless steel rod with a diameter of 6-8 mm - for the harpoon

Instructions

Step 1

Cut a thread from both ends of the duralumin tube and cut a groove for the plug, 150-170 mm long. Grind the muzzle and plug. Drill a hole for the harpoon in the plug.

Step 2

Clamp the grip plates in a vise and drill a hole for the barrel. Cut out the outlines of the handle and make a sample 3.5 mm deep for the trigger.

Step 3

Connect both halves of the handle on the barrel and press them in with the screws. Craft a trigger. This is a fairly simple plumbing job.

Step 4

Make a stainless steel harpoon. The sleeve to which the line is attached should slide over the harpoon. It should rest against the shank and be cushioned by the fluoroplastic ring.

Step 5

Cut a spreader out of a strip of steel and attach it with two screws to the barrel end cap. The gun is ready.
