Making various interesting hair accessories yourself is much more interesting than buying in a store. Moreover, a great variety of master classes and lessons are posted on the Internet. It is impossible to talk about all the possible options for making hair accessories in just one article. Therefore, it makes sense to focus on the simplest methods. Making elastic bands and hairpins with flowers is a simpler task than it might seem at first glance.
It is necessary
Fabric, wide satin ribbon, needle and thread, sewing machine, cotton wool or any other padding material, beads (or bugles, or sequins), woven elastic (stitching)
Instructions
Step 1
Fold the fabric in half (you should have two layers of fabric) and draw a circle of arbitrary diameter on it. To make the circle even, you can use materials at hand, for example, circle the coil.
Step 2
Sew the outline of the resulting circle on a sewing machine. The color of the threads should be in harmony with the color of your chosen fabric.
Step 3
Cut out the circle. Try not to damage the seams; to do this, step back from them by 3-5 mm. Make a small cut in the middle of the circle on one side and turn the product inside out. Place any padding material (such as cotton wool) inside to create a small cushion. It should be flat enough. Sew the incision carefully by hand.
Step 4
Thread a beautiful silk thread into the needle, fold it in half and tie a knot at the ends. Pierce the center of the pad from the wrong side with the needle so that the thread exits to the right side. Repeat the process and tighten the resulting loop. Divide the pad into five equal parts and repeat all of the above.
Step 5
Sew a few beads or sequins in the center of the resulting flower.
Step 6
"Put" the resulting flower on the invisible. The hairpin is ready. These flowers are very quick to craft and you can make a lot of them.
Step 7
You can decorate not only hairpins with such homemade flowers, but also hair ties, only they will have to be sewn to the elastic. Making an elastic band yourself is also quite simple. Take a woven elastic ("stitch") and a wide satin ribbon (it should be twice as long as the elastic). Sew the tape from the wrong side along the long edge to form a kind of "tube" and turn the right side out. Using a pin, slip the elastic into it. Sew the edges of the elastic first, and then the ends of the "case". The elastic is ready - it remains to decorate it with flowers. Sew on one or more flowers of your choice.
