Modern toy stores amaze with a variety of products. Despite this, parents are not always able to meet the needs of their children. Try to make your favorite toy together, let it be a wooden airplane. A well-thought-out model can become not only unique, but also the only favorite toy.

Instructions
Step 1
Make a toy from unnecessary boards, you can use the remains of fiberboard, chipboard. When preparing the material, keep in mind that an airplane will consist of several parts - an upper wing, a lower wing, a fluselage and a tail section. The workpieces must correspond to certain dimensions.
Step 2
First, put together a small model. Upper wings - 5 * 24 * 1.5 cm, lower wings - 5 * 30 * 1.5 cm, fluselage - 1.5 * 1.5 * 35 cm, tail section consists of two parts: top - 5 * 10 cm; bottom - 5 * 5cm.
Step 3
Draw the details of the wooden airplane on the sketch, complete the drawing from different angles, create a general view of the airplane. Think about how these parts will be connected to each other. It is desirable that there are no nails in the toy. Use wood glue. Prepare material for each part separately, study the drawing.
Step 4
Mark all the details, keep an eye on the accuracy of the dimensions. Saw off along the marked line, clean the cut with sandpaper, polish with a soft cloth.
Step 5
Begin the connection of the structure only after the manufacture of all parts. Assemble the wings - fasten the upper ones first, then the lower ones. Mark the connection points in advance. Please note that the wings should be symmetrically positioned, watch out for proportionality.
Step 6
Next, think over the way of connecting the tail, you can prepare special cuts on the basis. Saw out the insert on the tail piece, place it on the base. You can put him on a wooden peg, use slats.
Step 7
Add wheels to the main parts (use wheels from old cars), attach the propeller. Paint the toy with paints, cover with varnish. Water-based acrylic paint works well for painting wood. You can use either matte or glossy varnish, depending on the effect you want to achieve.
