It is necessary

  • - the cloth;
  • - scissors;
  • - paper;
  • - pencil;
  • - tape measure;
  • - sewing machine.

Instructions

Step 1

The upper part of the suit is made up of a white shirt. You can redraw the pattern from any child's shirt by removing the button line and making the shelf solid. You can also take a white T-shirt and sew on the sleeves. The sleeves should have cuffs, the width of which is half the length of the child's hand. Make the lower half of the cuffs blue, on the upper half, at an equal distance from each other, there should be three blue stripes. Assemble cuffs from pieces of white and blue fabric, or paint white with blue marker on fabric.

Step 2

Make a V-neck on the front of the shirt. Transfer the shape of the cutout to the pattern paper, add a part of the back pattern to it - to the level of the rounding of the armholes of the sleeves. According to the resulting drawing, make a sailor collar. Cut it out of blue fabric, sew three parallel stripes of white tape around the perimeter.

Step 3

For sailor pants, use any black or white straight-leg pants. For more similarity with the official sailor uniform, arrows can be ironed on the trousers. Complete the outfit with a wide black belt.

Step 4

Sew the peak off. Measure the circumference of the child's head with a tape measure. On the pattern, draw a rectangular strip of this length with an allowance of 1 cm - this is the band of the headdress. For the top of the cap, draw a circle 10 cm larger than the base. To calculate this value, divide the head circumference by 2, then add 10 to the result.

Step 5

Draw the detail connecting the upper part of the peakless cap with the rim in the form of a sweep of a truncated cone. Add an inch of seam allowance to the length and width of the shape. Cut out the details and grind them. To make the peakless cap hold its shape better, cardboard can be inserted into its lower and upper parts. Sew two blue ribbons to the back of the headdress. Their length should be up to the shoulders of the child.
