If you want to sew a fluffy skirt or you can show off your large volumes, then you need 2 lengths of fabric, plus 8 cm. But this is only for the skirt. But here the width of the canvas and the size of the wearer play a more important role.
Skirt without a pattern
The fabric has been purchased, you can start the process of creating a costume. For its upper part, you need a pattern. You can sew a skirt for the summer without it. For this time of year, thin fabrics are chosen, they drape well. Take the canvas, lay as many centimeters on it as your hips, plus another half. The length is the one you have chosen. Cut out the resulting rectangle, sew it in the middle. This seam will be at the back.
Fold the fabric over to the wrong side, stitch the edge. Insert an elastic band into the formed curtain. Hem the bottom. The skirt is ready.
Patterned skirt
If you want to sew a tight-fitting skirt, then you need an accurate pattern. Transfer it to tracing paper. Mark the darts at the front and back. Sew them first. Then join 2 fabrics (front and back) inside out to each other, sew side seams. Leave 10-12 cm on the left side for the zipper not sewn in. Sew it in. Sew on the belt. First, attach the right side of it to the wrong side of the skirt, sew these 2 sheets together. Iron the seam. Turn the belt over the "face". Sew to the front of the skirt. Pull up the bottom.
Jacket

If the back of the product is not one-piece, then first sew 2 pieces of it in the middle. Stitch the shoulder seams.

Use an iron to attach the adhesive tape to the center of the shelves on the wrong side. Bits are also sewn here.
