Andrei Sergeevich Konchalovsky made a huge contribution to the development of Soviet and Russian culture. For many years he has headed the Nika Film Academy and bears the deserved title of People's Artist. He is no less “productive” in his personal life. Konchalovsky was married five times, he has six children and four grandchildren. Many of the heirs of the master are worthy successors of the dynasty.

Who is Andrey Konchalovsky

Andrei (Andron) Sergeevich is the son of the most famous cultural figure of the Soviet era, Sergei Mikhalkov, author of the anthems of the USSR and Russia. The very fate of Konchalovsky was destined to continue the creative dynasty. He graduated from the music school at the Moscow Conservatory, the directing department of VGIK.

While studying at VGIK, Konchalovsky began his professional career. And his very first film "The Boy and the Dove" was highly appreciated at the Venice Children's Film Festival and was awarded the "Bronze Lion" prize.

The list of directorial works of Andrei Konchalovsky includes almost 40 films. In addition, he very successfully "noted" in the acting plan - starred in 4 films. Konchalovsky wrote scripts for almost 20 films. Andrey Sergeevich staged 9 performances in theaters. There are even operas in his creative piggy bank - "War and Peace", "Masquerade Ball", "Boris Godunov", "Our Ancient Capital" and others, clips to musical compositions.

Andrey Konchalovsky's wives

This handsome man, even at an advanced age, had five official marriages. As a truly creative person, Konchalovsky fell in love with the heroines of his films and with the performers of their roles. We can safely say that each of his significant work ended with a novel or marriage.

Konchalovsky lived with his first wife, the ballerina Kandat Irina, for only two years. Then Natalya Arinbasarova appeared in his life, for the sake of which the director left his first wife. But the second marriage ended after 4 years.

The reason for the divorce from Arinbasarova was the orientalist from France Vivian Godet. With her, Andrei Sergeevich also formalized the relationship officially, and they lasted longer than the first two marriages - 11 years. The inconsistency of her husband and numerous affairs on the side forced God to file for divorce.

For the fourth time, Konchalovsky decided to marry only 10 years later - in 1990. The director's choice was TV presenter Irina Martynova. Andrei Sergeevich lived with her until 1997, until Yulia Vysotskaya appeared in his life.

With Vysotskaya Konchalovsky is happy to this day. It was she who managed to calm down the loving director. Julia became not only a wife, but also a friend, and for the four children of Andrei Sergeevich from previous marriages and novels. The fifth wife gave birth to two more children Konchalovsky - Maria and Peter.

The master of Russian cinema and theater has 7 children. The eldest son Yegor was born to him by his second wife Natalya Arinbasarova. He continued the dynasty - became a successful actor, screenwriter and director. Viewers know him from such films as "Antikiller", "Roses for Elsa", "Canned Food" and others.

Married to his third wife, Vivian Godet, Konchalovsky had a daughter, Alexander (1970). In 1980, the actress Irina Brazgovka, with whom the director had a whirlwind romance, gave birth to another daughter, Daria.

Irina Martynova gave Andron Sergeevich two beautiful daughters - Natasha (1991) and Elena (1993). Two more children were born in marriage with Yulia Vysotskaya - daughter Masha (1999) and son Peter (2003).

We must pay tribute to Konchalovsky - all his children are not deprived of their father's attention, even after, for whatever reason, he left their mothers. All offspring receive both moral and material support from the star dad, he takes an active part in their lives. The fifth wife of the director gladly accepts her husband's children from previous marriages in her home.

Accident and recovery of Konchalovsky's daughter Maria

In 2013, a disaster struck in the director's family - a terrible accident in which the youngest of his daughters, Masha, suffered. The car was driven by Andrei Sergeevich himself, and the girl was not wearing a seat belt, as required by the rules.

The accident happened in France. The rented car, driven by the girl's father, turned out to be on the “oncoming lane”, collided with another car. Despite the fact that the blow fell on the side where Andrei Sergeevich was, the girl suffered more.

Immediately after the incident, Maria Konchalovskaya-Vysotskaya was taken to a nearby hospital, which, according to doctors, significantly increased her chances of recovery.

Parents were constantly on duty at the bedside of Mary in the intensive care unit of a French hospital. The doctors had to put the girl into a drug-induced coma, but they could no longer get her out of this state. For a long time, her life was literally "hanging by a thread."

Today, the forecasts of medical specialists are still disappointing. Rumors appeared in the press that they were going to disconnect Masha from the devices that ensure her life, but they did not do this.

Andrei Sergeevich Konchalovsky and Yulia Vysotskaya refuse to answer journalists' questions regarding the condition of their daughter Masha. But the fact that they both returned to work gives hope that the girl, even if she does not fully recover, will at least come out of the coma. Parents transported their daughter from a French clinic to a Russian one.
