Instructions
Step 1
Open the photo you want to make brighter and prettier, and then select the Rectangular Marquee Tool from the toolbar.
Step 2
Select the area of the photo that should be inside the frame, trying to offset from the edges of the photo equal distances, and then press Ctrl + Shift + I to invert the selection. The middle part of the photo will no longer be selected, but the outlines of the future frame of the photo will be outlined with dashed lines.
Step 3
Create a new layer (Create New Layer) and left-click on the selected area of the future frame. Select the Fill option, setting the base color to black on the color palette. The settings window will open, in which, in the Use field, select the Foreground Color item. Click OK to create a black box for the future photo frame.
Step 4
Now open the Layer menu and choose Layer Style. Open Blending options. By editing the options and settings of the Blending Options, you can create a unique frame with a variety of design styles. For example, you can click on the Bevel and Emboss tab and make the frame larger by selecting the Inner Bevel and Smooth style in the settings.
Step 5
After the frame becomes convex, click on the Texture tab and select a suitable texture to fill the frame box. Open the Color Overlay tab and select a suitable color from the palette, setting the blend mode (Blend mode) to Normal.
