Never fond of arts and crafts? It doesn't matter, because learning to do something simple with your own hands is not only useful, but also pleasant. Let's try to make a nice wooden photo frame. After all, you always want to surround yourself with bright memories of a vacation or smiles of loved ones.

It is necessary

Wooden lath, PVA glue, staples for a stapler, synthetic paint and decorative molding

Instructions

Step 1

You should start with the size of the future frame. It's up to you to decide whether it will be a 10x15 or 9x12 cm photo frame. The next step is to correctly measure the desired length, and then carefully saw off the edges of the rail at an angle of 45 °. When the future sides of the frame are ready, we take the staple bracket and divide it into two equal L-shaped parts. With the help of such brackets, you can easily connect the two sides of the frame so that the joint will remain completely invisible. But to fix and make the frame more durable, before joining the sides with staples, you should grease them with glue.

Step 2

After the glue dries, the frame is ready to paint on its surface, and then there will be where to show imagination!

Step 3

You can attach a photo to such a frame with a stapler, after laminating the photo. Lamination, firstly, will make it easier to clean the photo from dust and, secondly, it will ease the load on the frame.

Step 4

Another, more laborious, method of making a frame. Initially, the principle is the same. You will need 8x10mm wooden blocks for gluing the main frame and 5x35mm blocks for the second frame. Their dimensions should be the same, since the corresponding sides of the frames will need to be connected perpendicularly to each other. The result should be something that looks like a box. We glue the connecting joint along the entire perimeter with a decorative baguette. Before use, the baguette should be covered with glue twice so that the spray paint does not damage the surface. After the frame is dry, you can safely cover it with any paint. A painted decorative baguette will give the finished product a wonderful look.
