Instructions
Step 1
First you need to draw a sketch of your picture, think over the idea to the smallest detail and only after that start creating work from leather. Often, during the execution of the work, something can be changed, because the skin does not constantly fold the way the master thinks. But such amendments give the creative work new interesting details, and makes the leather painting special.
Step 2
The first step is to build up the baguette with cardboard to the size you need. To do this, we attach cardboard to a furniture stapler on both sides, and we connect the edges with a stationery stapler so that the structure is static, thus, a thin baguette will only serve as a frame for the future frame.
Step 3
To make the corners of the product correct, we cut off the upper part of the cardboard at an angle of 45% and fix it on the stapler.
Step 4
We carefully coat the pieces of genuine leather with glue and glue them over the entire plane of the resulting frame.
Step 5
We decorate the resulting surface with acrylic paints using a foam sponge, painting it unevenly in two colors. The frame can also be painted in only one color. Spray paint can enhance the color of the texture.
Step 6
While the frame dries up, let's take care of the mat. To do this, cut out the frame for the photograph from the face of the drawing paper, and so that it is not white, we also paint it in golden color with spray paint.
