Creepy creatures roam the cemetery in search of an opportunity to feast on the brains and flesh of living people - a common plot among amateur and professional zombie drawings. If you are bored with drawing kind characters, try to portray a gloomy zombie.
It is necessary
- - pencil;
- - paper;
- - eraser.
Instructions
Step 1
Think over the image of the future character. A person who has turned into a zombie loses intelligence and other personal qualities, but he still has some individual facial features.
Step 2
Choose a pose for the zombie. Of course, you can limit yourself to drawing one hand sticking out of the grave. This will be enough for the audience to recognize the character. But if you want to draw a full-length zombie, pay attention to the basic techniques for depicting this character.
Step 3
The classic zombie moves slowly, so its legs are not too far apart. One of the legs may be twisted unnaturally. Both of the character's arms are extended forward. The hands hang freely. The zombie holds its head straight or tilts it. Draw rough strokes with a pencil, indicating the chosen pose. Don't get carried away with drawing details at this stage.
Step 4
Decorate the zombie eyes. They should reflect the character's primitive brain activity. You can depict the eyes as bulging, with a lot of blood vessels visible. The pupil of such an eye must be very small. You can also depict the eyes with a white veil, making the iris almost invisible.
Step 5
The zombie has poor muscle control due to the fact that its flesh decays. In addition, the undead focus solely on their hunger. Therefore, the mouths of these characters are depicted as open, with jaws hanging loosely. Artists often paint zombies with chins stained with blood from the last bite. Broken or decayed teeth can also add character to your look.
Step 6
A zombie nose can look similar to a human nose. But if you're drawing a half-decayed zombie, the nose may be missing. Instead, draw with a pencil two black holes, shaped like an apple seed.
Step 7
Use strokes to sketch out the rags the character is wearing. Draw in the torn edges of the fabric, adding folds and stains to the garment along the way. Draw thin bones peeking through the holes in the clothes.
Step 8
Add shadows to make the image more realistic. Shade the shadow areas with a pencil. Then blend them as desired.
