Today many people dream of mastering the ingenious art of street painting - graffiti. However, before taking to the streets of the city with cans of paint, you need to master the drawing technique in a simpler version - at least with the help of a simple pencil and paper.

Step 1
Before you start painting yourself, watch those who are already good at drawing graffiti. Note what techniques they use to create graphic effects in their drawings, where they start drawing, what each element of the graffiti drawing consists of.
Step 2
Get a sketchbook with good quality paper, a good soft pencil, eraser, markers, and colored pencils if you want to color in the finished image.
Step 3
You can try to sketch ready-made graffiti of other masters - during the training it helps to improve the technique, or you can come up with your own drawings. Don't try to draw 3D drawings straight away - start with simple 2D images.
Step 4
To get started, practice drawing in graffiti style different letters, labels and numbers. Hone your ability to draw any letter of the Russian and English alphabet in graffiti.
Step 5
The easiest way to learn how to give a graffiti-style to the letters of the alphabet is using your own name as an example. Draw the letters, making small distances between them - the free space will give more room for further detailing each letter.
Step 6
When drawing letters, press with a pencil on the paper with different strengths - this will achieve a greater variety of the texture of the drawing and its depth. Shade and shade the necessary elements of the picture - this will lead you to an understanding of the three-dimensionality of the image.
Step 7
The main style of depicting volumetric objects in graffiti is the bubble style. In order to achieve the effect of a bubble, circle the letter with a clear rounded outline, smoothly drawing the line and making no corners.
Step 8
After the path is created, use the eraser to erase the letter inside the stroke. Add different colors, outline the outline with a thick marker, highlight the letter's features with additional strokes.
Step 9
Experiment - and soon you will begin to acquire the necessary technical skill in drawing.
