Maxim was born in the northern capital in the winter of 1962. His family belonged to people of art. The boy's parents worked at the Leningrad Comedy Theater and were one of the leading actors of the troupe, having been awarded the titles of Honored Artists of the RSFSR.
When the boy was five years old, his mother died suddenly. The father married a second time, but the marriage was not successful. A few years later, he met a woman who became a real second mother for an adopted son. Irina Lvovna, that was the name of Leonid Efimovich's third wife, worked in the library of the Mariinsky Theater. She was constantly engaged in the cultural education of the child and was able to instill in the boy a love of literature and art.
The father really wanted his son to continue the acting dynasty, and dreamed that he would go to study at the theater institute. When Maxim went to school, he suddenly found himself in a math class. Studying was difficult for him. For three years he literally suffered at his desk. This continued until he was transferred to the school at the school to them. Glinka.
