The good sound of an acoustic guitar does not depend only on the quality and skill of the performer. One of the main roles is played by the correct installation of the strings on the guitar. This affects how well the tool will build.

Instructions

Step 1

Attach the first string to the saddle on the acoustic guitar stand. This place is also called the bridge. Then pull the inserted string all the way to the end of the fretboard (its head). Carefully insert the string into the hole on the matching tuning machine head.

Step 2

Pull the string lightly in the tuning peg, choosing the direction of the tension so that it goes towards the headstock. In this case, it is necessary to leave such a string in order to wind it on the guitar peg in the future. Leave the string stock so that when winding, you get no more than 2-3 turns of the string around the tuning peg. This number of turns is optimal. Be careful not to pull or jerk the string too much - as a result, it may bend or break. Such a string will already be inoperative.

Step 3

Bend the end of the string so that the direction goes towards the center of the headstock. Then pass the end of the string underneath the body. This is required to create a secure fit on the guitar head.

Step 4

After that, wrap the string around its axis, while maintaining the created tension. The result should be something like a castle. It is necessary to keep the strings in place, which will not allow the guitar to often get out of tune. Hold the string taut - this is necessary for correct further installation.

Step 5

Begin to spin the guitar peg while holding the string. As a result, she will press herself. To increase the angle of inclination, wind the string downward. This natural anchorage is quite strong and will not allow the strings to crawl.

Step 6

Repeat the above procedure for the remaining strings. Thread them through the saddle carefully so as not to damage the guitar body. Check that the strings are properly attached to the tuning pegs of the guitar neck.
