Changing strings is one of the main problems for a beginner musician. It can remain a problem long enough because this action is not performed so often that it quickly becomes habitual. However, there is nothing complicated in this process.

Instructions
Step 1
First, decide which strings to buy and use - nylon (or more expensive carbon) or metal. Nylon strings are softer and safer for both the hands of a novice musician and the instrument. Metal ones are distinguished by a more sonorous and beautiful sound.
Step 2
Having chosen and purchased a suitable kit, proceed with the replacement. There is no need to unpack all the strings at once - their thickness differs only slightly, and by eye there is nothing easier than confusing the order. Use the tuning pegs to loosen the old strings on your instrument carefully. If your guitar has no strings at all yet, skip this step.
Step 3
Remove the first (thinnest) string from the guitar. To do this, loosen it enough so that the turns themselves are removed from the peg, unwind to the end and unhook. Then pull the string out of the saddle hole. Depending on the design of the guitar, the end of the strings can extend both to the back of the guitar or to the inside of the instrument.
Step 4
Now, having unpacked the thinnest string from the new set, repeat the same steps with it, but in the opposite order - pull through the hole in the saddle, fix it in the special hole in the tuning peg (the peg for the first string is traditionally the lower right on the neck) and do several turns around it until the string is taut. Then pull it up by turning the peg until it stops rattling when trying to make a sound. You don't need to tune to the tuning fork yet - you will do it at the end, after changing all the strings.
Step 5
Repeat the steps with each string in turn - remove the old one, then put a new one in its place and secure it. Be careful not to ruin the tuning pegs or break the strings.
Step 6
After you have replaced all the strings, tune the guitar in the way that suits you - for a tuning fork, another instrument or a tuner. If you choose nylon strings, remember that they stretch quite hard - you will have to wait a few days, adjusting the tuning from time to time until it is stable enough.
