Acoustic guitar is phenomenally popular all over the world. Usually, metal or nylon strings are used to play acoustic guitar. The correct tuning of the strings determines how well the guitar will hold in tune. At first glance, the process of installing strings seems elementary, but there are also secrets here. Consider replacing metal strings.
Instructions
Step 1
After you have removed the old strings and secured the new ones in the saddle (bridge), pull them up to the head of the neck and insert them into the hole of the tuner. The nylon strings in the saddle are attached with a knot as shown.
Step 2
Leave a small margin for winding it on the splitter. Bend the end towards the base of the head and slide it under the string.
Step 3
While holding the string in this position, begin to twist the peg. The string should be wound down the post to increase its angle of inclination in relation to the nut. Thus, the string will clamp itself. Pay attention in which direction you are pulling, all strings should be pulled in the same direction, this will greatly facilitate the process of tuning the guitar.
