Every guitarist has come across a string change at least once. Usually strings are changed when a lot of dirt accumulates on them. Also, the reason for changing the strings on the guitar can be their breakage.

Step 1
You will need to change the strings if the string breaks while playing the guitar or when the sound of the instrument changes. If the sound has become more dull, smeared, do not rush to blame the quality of the instrument for this - it may well be that the strings have accumulated a large amount of dirt and sebum. Strings usually get dirty over a period of several months, no matter how thoroughly you wash your hands before playing the instrument. You can buy new strings and put them on your guitar, or you can remove the old ones and boil them in water and a teaspoon of baking soda for 10 minutes. The latter option is suitable for musicians in financial trouble.
Step 2
Take your guitar and begin to gradually lower the strings. It is best to do this alternately with each string, so that the strings are not taut under the influence of the fretboard.
Step 3
Remove the strings from the tuning pegs first and then from the lower stand. If the bottom of the strings on your guitar are attached with plugs (plastic chops), then you will need to carefully pull them out. If you can't do this with your fingers, use a pair of pliers.
Step 4
Begin installing new strings. First, you need to pass through a special hole in the bottom stand and fix the 6th string on the tuning peg, then 5th and so on, until you reach the thinnest string - the first. The tension on the strings should be light at this stage.
Step 5
Take the tuner and start pulling up the strings. You need to start with the first string. Constantly check the pitch against the sounding note of the tuner.
