A bow sewn to the place will make even the most uncomplicated curtain or tablecloth elegant. A small bow can be a decoration for a blouse. You can attach an invisibility to it and make a hair clip. A bow tie for an evening men's suit is also a bow made of fabric, and is sewn in almost the same way as all other bows.

Instructions
Step 1
Calculate the approximate size of the bow. If you are going to use leftover fabric, calculate so that you can cut out 2 identical wide rectangles for the bow itself, 2 narrower and longer stripes for the ends, and a square about 2 times smaller than the width of the main rectangles for the knot. Do not forget to take into account 1 cm for allowances.
Step 2
It is better to draw the details on paper first. Draw them with a ruler and carefully observe the perpendicularity of the sides. Cut out the details and trace them onto the fabric. It is better to lay them out so that the share thread matches the length of the part. If the fabric is checked or striped, check the pattern for compatibility.
Step 3
Making a bow. Baste the net to the wrong side of the fabric, close to the edges. Fold the fabric across with the right side, sew long cuts, leaving a 10 cm open section in the middle for the zip. Place the seam in the middle, iron out the allowances. Stitch short cuts. Cut off the corners, turn the bow to the front side through the unsewn seam, press it on. Sew the open area with a blind stitch.
Step 4
Place the 2 rectangles for the bow itself side-by-side on the nylon netting, face up. They should lie side by side, touching in long sections. Baste the mesh to the outer edges of both rectangles and to their short cuts. Fold the pieces right-side up. Sew long cuts, leaving one with a hole in the center. Its length should be about half the length of the cut itself.
Step 5
Straighten the stitched parts so that the long seam lies exactly in the middle. Iron the allowances. Iron the bow. Stitch short cuts. Cut the corners so that the fabric in these places does not puff up. Turn the product right out through the hole. Press the hole allowances to the wrong side. Sew up the hole with a blind stitch.
Step 6
Make the ends of the bow. Fold one of the strips in half along the lobes, right side inward. Sew a long cut. Place the strip so that the seam is in the middle. Iron the allowances. Think about how you will style the bottom end of the bow. You can just grind a short cut and turn the part out to the right side. You can make the top of the corner in the middle of the bottom seam, and from it lead 2 oblique lines to the smoothed side sides. In this case, stitch off the corner, trim off the excess fabric, and then turn the strip to the right side. Make the second end of the bow as well.
Step 7
Fold the square for the knot in half with the right side inward. Sew a long cut. Lay out the knot in the same way as you did with the rest of the details. Iron the allowances. Unscrew the knot and press on the mid-sides of the sides.
Step 8
Gather the bow. Sew it in the middle across it 2 times, setting the maximum stitch length on the machine. Pull up the threads and secure the ends.
Step 9
Wrap the middle of the gathered bow with the strip you made for the knot. Spread the knot so that it covers the stitching. On the back of the bow, fold the knot cuts. Sew them over with a seam. Use a few discreet stitches to secure the knot to the bow. Pay special attention to the edges of the knot, here you can make several stitches on each side.
Step 10
Fold the end of the bow in half lengthwise. Sweep open the cut. Do the same with the second strip. Gather the cuts a little. Tie the top edges together with a few stitches so that the strips are at an angle. Baste both parts to the back of the bow and sew. Make sure the top cuts are at the same level as the edges of the knot.
