Step 1
If you want to draw attention to your piece of jewelry, try braiding a bauble with fringed colored stripes. Take six white threads of floss, each 30 cm long, and also prepare a large number of short sections of floss of different colors.
Step 2
The length of each segment should be about 15 cm. Fasten the bundle of white threads on a soft fixed base (for example, on the back of a sofa) with a safety pin, tie a knot at the end and leave a tail for tying a bauble.
Step 3
Take a short piece of string of any color - for example, yellow - and tape the end of it to the work surface with tape. Tie the white thread on the far left with yellow thread, forming a single knot.
Step 4
Then sequentially tie the second, third, fifth and sixth threads with single knots. When you reach the end, cut the end of the colored thread so that there are two colored tails left and right.
Step 5
Now take a thread of a different color and repeat the steps described above - also secure its tip with tape to the left of the bauble and sequentially tie all six white threads, and then cut off the tip, stepping back a short distance from the edge of the bauble. Alternate the threads of different colors, forming colorful stripes of knots.
Step 6
Tighten all knots equally to keep the bracelet neat. Braid the bracelet to the desired length, and then carefully trim the fringe left and right with scissors, making it the same width. At the front and back ends of the baubles, braid with white thread to create strings.
Step 7
The ready-made bauble can be worn with any clothing - it will suit most styles, both youth and sports. Depending on the style of clothing, such a bracelet can be additionally decorated with suitable accessories, for example, sew on beads or glue on rhinestones. Show your imagination, and then your bauble will have its own unique individual charm.
