Baubles are perceived by many as accessories for informals and hippies, but this is not the case. They have already ceased to be a sign of belonging to any subculture, but have become a wonderful gift made with their own hands as a sign of friendship, attention, love and affection for relatives and friends.

Instructions

Step 1

The simplest, but no less original bauble is made of eight colors (from eight threads). Arrange all the threads in the order in which the colors of your baubles will be located. Tie a knot on one side, leaving a loop on that side. This is done so that in the future you can tie a cute little thing on your friend's hand.

Step 2

Having made a knot, it must be secured either on the sofa, or on your own trousers, or on any other suitable surface with a pin. Spread out all the threads and start braiding. Tie the rightmost thread with two knots on the leftmost thread. In the process of weaving, the threads are interchanged. Tie the same two knots with the same thread, but on the next thread. So continue to knot all the way to the edge for the first diagonal row of knots of the same color. Take the newly formed extreme right thread and knot the knots again in the same sequence, doing all the same operations.

Step 3

This option is the most common and simple, it is also called classic. But there are also more complex options for the very patient knotting enthusiasts. One of these ways will allow you to weave a bauble with arrow patterns. To do this, also take eight strands a little over a meter long.

Take the thread on the far right and do the manipulations you already know, but only to the middle of the row. Then use the leftmost thread - also tie to the middle of the row, but now all the manipulations will seem to be reflected in a mirror, i.e. go in reverse order. The threads that meet in the middle must be tied together. This will give you a pattern with arrows.

Step 4

In addition, you can weave baubles without knots, just weave the threads in a specific order. For one of these schemes, take, as usual, eight threads a little more than a meter long, tie a knot, and fix it on the work surface. Move the leftmost thread to the middle, i.e. place it between the fourth and fifth strands. Then take the thread on the far right and also place it in the middle, with the thread on the far right above the far left thread. Then take the "new" extreme threads and repeat all the steps until the end of the bauble. If you take threads of four colors and just repeat them in the mirror direction again (for example, red, blue, yellow, green and green, yellow, blue and red again), you end up with a pattern of intertwining rhombuses.

Step 5

There are an incredible variety of options for weaving baubles from threads, ribbons, cords. Having shown imagination, you can come up with your own techniques and drawings. There are also patterns for weaving these cute little things using beads and other additional materials, they are freely available throughout the Internet.
