Biography
Maria was born in Izhevsk on December 26, 1986. Then she and her family moved to Yaroslavl, where her father worked as an actor and director in the drama theater, and her mother - as an actress in the Yaroslavl Youth Theater. After Maria was 6 years old, the family moved to Moscow. Since childhood, the future actress was sure that she would continue family traditions. At first Gorban was fond of clowning. After leaving school, she entered GITIS, studied in the course of Morozov. During her studies, she played in student productions "Three Sisters", "Nameless Star" and "Mandate".
The first film work for Maria was the role in the youth series "Simple Truths". In 2004 she starred in the video for the song "Time" by Irakli Pirtskhalava. After the 4th year, she was taken on the main roles in the feature films "The Smile of God" and "The Joke". In 2007, Maria successfully graduated from GITIS, after which she starred in many TV series and films.

Currently, Maria is married and has a different surname - Filatova. She married a Ukrainian illuminator Oleg Filatov. They met in Kiev in a common company of friends. The wedding ceremony was also held in the capital of Ukraine. Maria is currently expecting a baby and in September 2014 she should give birth to her first child.
