Sergei Nikonenko is a Soviet and Russian theater and film actor, as well as a director of the RSFSR.
Before career
Sergey Petrovich Nikonenko was born on April 16, 1941 in Moscow. It appeared 2 months before the start of the Great Patriotic War. Apart from him, his parents and two more children with their grandmother lived in a small room. In total, 25 people lived in the criminal apartment. Parents were simple, mother worked as a glassblower at an electric lamp factory, and father as a driver.
Sergei Nikolenko had no relatives who linked their lives with creativity. Why Sergey became interested in creativity and the stage is unknown. He sang beautifully, played the accordion and eagerly participated in school competitions and events related to the stage, regularly receiving letters of commendation and gratitude.
The future artist studied badly. However, this did not prevent him from growing up as a talented and cheerful child.
He loved theater no less than music. His love began by chance. Having found a ticket for a performance at the Mayakovsky Theater, he visited it. He liked the production very much. After that, he began to masterfully draw tickets and get to new performances (counter-marks were then written by hand), he enjoyed what he saw.
At the age of 13, he went to the drama club, where he met his first love - the girl Ira. Ira dreamed of becoming an actress, but later her views changed, and she left the circle with ambitions associated with another dream. Sergei remained in the circle. The world of the theater finally "swallowed" him.
Nikolenko entered the Moscow VGIK without any problems, having passed all the entrance exams. The leadership liked him very much for his qualities, Nikolenko became a student.
Actor's career
After graduating from university and receiving an education, Sergei Nikolenko began to play in films. Films now interested him more than the scene. This is not surprising, because even before graduating from VGIK, he played in films, performing his first role in 1961.
“They Call, Open the Door” by Alexander Mitta and “Journalist” by Sergey Gerasimov - he has participated in many films. The best results, in his opinion, he showed in the films "And tomorrow there was a war" and "Classic".
Now in his filmography, there are more than 250 films.
Personal life
His first wife was Irina Melnikova - his first love, whom he met at the age of 13 in a drama club. 10 years after they met in a circle, they got married. The relationship did not last long, after two years they divorced.
In 1968, he married for the second time with Evgenia Solovieva. They met on the set of "I'm leaving home", which was filmed in Yalta. Evgenia lived in Odessa, where the actor later went to ask her parents for her daughter's hand. The romance did not last more than 2 years. The couple quarreled and made peace. However, the final break did occur, and Zhenya married the pilot. Now the couple are on friendly terms.
He got married with Ekaterina Voronina in 1973 and is still married to her. They had a son, Nikanor, who followed in his father's footsteps, graduating from directing courses at VGIK.
