Crafts for a garden from tires already, perhaps, will surprise no one. Craftsmen make many beautiful things out of them: flower beds, garden figurines, swings. However, tires can also be used to make other original and useful things, such as wall clocks or furniture.

Step 1
Watch for car enthusiasts
Take a bicycle tire to make an original watch. In principle, you can use tires of any diameter, but small ones from a child's bike are best.
Step 2
Place the tire on a piece of plywood and draw a circle around it. Use a jigsaw to cut a circle, paint it. Find the middle of the circle, drill a hole with a drill and insert the clockwork with the hands. You can remove it from your old watch or purchase a new one at handicraft stores.
Step 3
Insert the resulting circle into the tire, then apply the markings. This can be done with a regular brush and paint, or you can glue the washers or nuts with liquid nails or Moment glue. From the piece of wire on the back of the watch, screw on a loop so you can hang it on the wall.
Step 4
Mirror for a car enthusiast
You also need to look pretty in the garage, right? Take the tire from the bike wheel. Paint it with silver or gold paint.
Step 5
Cut out the mirror, its diameter should be equal to the diameter of the tire. A specialized workshop will help you cut the mirror exactly in a circle. Insert the mirror into the frame from the tire.
Step 6
Table and ottoman made of tires
To make a table, take 2 or 3 tires. Wash and degrease them thoroughly. Then paint in the desired color so that the paint covers the surface as evenly as possible, do this with a spray gun or a spray can.
Step 7
Now put one tire on it, the second on it and fasten them together with a screwdriver and self-tapping screws.
Step 8
Use a jigsaw to cut a tabletop out of plywood. It can be either round or square. Paint it to match the tires or make it a contrasting color. Put on the prepared base made of tires and screw with self-tapping screws. Slightly sinking the caps into the plywood so that the screws are not visible, cover the holes with putty. When it dries, sand and paint to match the countertop.
Step 9
For an ottoman, you need one or two tires with a diameter of R12 or R13, depending on the desired height. Prepare and paint the tire, cut out a pillow from thick foam rubber that would fit snugly into the hole of the tire. Cover the foam with a suitable fabric and insert into the tire. The ottoman is ready.
