Old car tires are often found lying around in the garage and on the street. But you can make wonderful decorative elements from them in the country and in the courtyard of the house. You can make whatever your heart desires from this rubber product, because it is easily cut, painted and installed, does not rot for a long time under the influence of weather conditions. For example, you can make a swan out of a tire with your own hands.
First, you need to mark the silhouette of the future bird on the tire. The tire is divided into stripes into several parts. For at least two wings, it is necessary to separate one piece at each edge and leave a center for making the head and tail. The wings can be split into multiple stripes to make them fluffier, or cut the edges into small triangles to simulate feathers.
To make a swan out of a tire, you need to cut the wheel along the marked lines with a sharp knife. If necessary, the thick part can be cut with a grinder or a chisel.
The cut tire is turned inside out, the edges of the head, tail and wings are properly processed so that they cannot be scratched in the future.
A tire swan is installed on a podium from any available material: the same tire, stone, metal post. The finished bird is painted white, black or bronze (although no one bothers to make a fabulous multi-colored swan), the nose and eyes stand out separately.
