A paper rabbit can become a Christmas tree decoration, help you tell your child a fairy tale, or "star" in a home play. To add color to the figurine, you can choose beautiful paper.

It is necessary

  • ● Paper
  • ● scissors
  • ● Ruler

Instructions

Step 1

First, you need to outline a line on the sheet that intersects it diagonally.

Step 2

The next step is to turn the sheet so that the fold line lies vertically towards you. After that, the sides of the leaf are folded to the midline to create a kind of "kite".

Step 3

Now the "head" of the kite (that part of it that has not been folded to the center) must be bent down along the dividing line of the "head" and "body" of the kite, that is, bend to the parts of the sheet folded in the previous paragraph.

Step 4

Further, we mentally divide the "head" of the kite into two parts by a horizontal line approximately in the middle and bend it in the opposite direction from the "body".

Step 5

In place of the former "head" of our future craft, we see 3 triangles. One is directed with its apex in the opposite direction from the figure and is located in the middle, and the other two triangles with their vertices look at the figure and are located at the edges. We add them sequentially along the line of their connection with a large triangle.

Step 6

We turn the resulting figure over.

Step 7

We see two parts of our figure - the main one and the triangle, which is visually separated from the rest of the part. Omitting this triangle, fold the figure in half with a horizontal line.

Step 8

Now fold in half with a vertical line.

Step 9

We now have a quadrilateral. If you look at it so that the figure is located sideways, then we will see that it is divided into three parts - a long triangle, a smaller triangle and a trapezoid. Grab the long triangle and pull it up and towards us (the craft is located at two corners to us) by about 45 degrees. We got the future rabbit ears.

Step 10

Cut the triangle that you had to pull towards you in the previous step from the sharpest corner to the right angle of this triangle.

Step 11

Bend a portion of each ear symmetrically downward so that the ends of the ears are facing the floor.

Step 12

Lift the top layer of paper on each piece that you folded in the previous step and press it against the figure. You should end up with two triangles with an extra fourth corner at the base in the middle.

Step 13

Now, without taking into account the fourth corner in the middle, along the line of the base of the triangle, bend your ears back and press the upper half of the ear slightly against the lower one on each side.

Step 14

It remains only to color the resulting model as you like, and the rabbit is ready!
